Whether you’re up for a drink, a snack or a full meal, there are lots of places nearby.
Ravenscar tearoom in the village, is open 10am-4pm serving ice creams, drinks, snacks and light meals
Raven Hall Hotel (01723 870353) is perched on the cliff top in the village and offer drinks, sandwiches and bar meals (lunchtime and evening), served either in the restaurant or the gardens and a la carte in the restaurant on an evening
We have two local pubs:
The Hayburn Wyke (01723 870202, www.hayburnwykeinn.co.uk) This pub is on the old railway on the way from Ravenscar to Cloughton and is very popular at lunchtimes particularly with walkers and cyclists. It is about 4 miles away by road and there is a sign on the left hand side of the road at the turn off. They serve drink, bar snacks and meals every lunchtime and evening (except Monday evening)
The Bryherstones Inn (01723 870744, www.bryherstonescountryinn.co.uk) is on the road back toward Scarborough (4 1/2 miles from Smugglers Rock on the roadside). It is a restaurant/pub and serves hand pulled ales as well as food every evening and Friday-Sunday lunchtimes.
Whitby has many fish restaurants, the most popular ones being The Magpie, Trenches and The Fisherman's Wife, as well as lots of pubs serving meals and individual restaurants too.
Scarborough has several fish restaurants, including Cafe Fish, as well as Italian pizza restaurants like Ask.
Scarborough town centre also has numerous cafes and bars, McDonalds and KFC
